Can You Pass This Test?

The Right Brain vs Left Brain test
Is the dancer turning clockwise or counter-clockwise?
If you see the dancer turning clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain and vice versa.
(Guys: If you only see a silhouette of a naked woman … FOCUS. Is she turning clockwise or counter-clockwise?)
Most see the dancer turning counter-clockwise though you can try to focus and change the direction; see if you can do it.
| LEFT BRAIN | RIGHT BRAIN |

The Blueprint for Success
If you read the online marketing forums, you’ll find a lot of newbies getting started in affiliate marketing, most who seem at a loss as to where to begin. They want to know what you are selling, where you are selling it and how you are selling it as well as a template sales/landing page. Basically, what they want is an exact blueprint for success.
There are literally hundreds of self-proclaimed “gurus” who claim to provide you with the exact blueprint that you need for success … at a price, of course. You can literally spend thousands of dollars in pursuit of this elusive blueprint and never achieve the success that each of their sales pages proclaims. In fact, most people who try their hand at an online business will fail. Many will get discouraged because they haven’t made a dime from all the “blueprints” they have purchased and find themselves losing money instead of making money.
A Guide for Creative Thinking
Here’s a secret that most affiliate marketers won’t tell you.
There are no blueprints
Much of the rehashed garbage information that is found in the “guru” ebooks can be easily found on the Internet for free. I have read many of these ebooks and have never found one that actually contained a “blueprint” for a successful online business. The blueprint is inside your own mind and any information you need to accomplish your goals can be found for free.
In order to be successful in life and business you need to get your own creative juices flowing and come up with ideas. The more ideas you can generate, the more successful you will be. They don’t all have to be earth-shaking, ground-breaking ideas … generate enough ideas, and one of them is bound to be a prizewinner.
Creativity is a latent skill … a skill that everyone is born with and that grows with use. You can increase your creative powers by using them, over and over, in every situation, deliberately and specifically, until creativity and a creative response to life is as natural to you as breathing in and out is. There are very few things that you can do that can have a more powerful positive impact on your entire life than becoming excellent in creative thinking. And you can if you think you can.

Well, she started out counter-clockwise, and then after a few seconds switched to clockwise. Now I’m stuck in my right brain, cuz I can’t make her go back!
Oh wait. Right brain. That’s a good thing.
Except now I’m annoyed that I can’t get it to got the other way again.

Well, I guess my right brain has taken over all the available intra-craneal space. I’m trying hard to see her spinning counter-clockwise but I can’t.
Where’s my logic gone?

I got that same image from an email and that is really quite interesting. When I first look at it, I see the girl going clockwise then I just focus on the feet and believe that it can turn the other way around, then it turns. Very cool.

I wonder what it means if you can see it sometimes one way, sometimes the other?

I saw it clockwise first, and it took me a while to make her switch directions — focusing on the shadow at the bottom helps make her go counter-clockwise. Then I had to cover the shadow to make her go clockwise again, I just couldn’t make it go back, heh. Now I only see her going clockwise, and wonder how I saw counter…hehe.
That’s really neat.

Well, I can see her going both ways — that makes her bi, right?
No, that wasn’t the test it makes ME a Gemini (which I am! — YEAH)
But the rest of your post is spot on Suzanne — tons of blogs being created daily in the ChowClone pattern of guruism. Makes me want to yark — make that makes me yark. Saw several introduce themselves on the forum today and it was all I could do to say “welcome and add your self to the other 1 million blog-for-money blogspot plots that I will not be visiting anytime in this millenium.” I refrained though. That wouldn’t have been very nice and I AM a nice person. (No matter that Sue-Doe-Nim thinks I’m not)

First, it was clockwise. Then after a bathroom break, it became anti-clockwise. I tried to focus to change it back to clockwise, it worked but can easily go back to anti-clockwise! Then, after a loooooong break, I came back again, it is now automatically clockwise again and locked at clockwise. Interesting!

Yeah … it’s strange. I see mostly clockwise, but when I try sometimes, I can see counterclockwise. Once I do, it’s hard to go back to clockwise, until I leave the page and come back. Yesterday once I was stuck in counterclockwise. Must have been having a “lefty” day.

I started out seeing her go only clockwise, and then I figured out how to switch her. But whenever I look at it fresh, it’s clockwise until I concentrate.
Interestingly, when she’s going clockwise she’s spinning on her left foot. But when she’s counterclockwise, she’s turning on her right foot. Very weird.

I can get her to switch directions regularly. I was beginning to think that
But at the same time I’m a very creative person and an artist (right brained), but was a banker and was told by professors and teachers that I should select engineering , or economics as a career (left-brained).
I saw her switch so often that I was sure she was actually programmed to do that (maybe she was), until I read that others couldn’t make it switch.
Very interesting.

What a trip. First she was going clockwise, and after about 10 minutes trying to get her to go counterclockwise I was able to see it that way. I got her to change direction as soon as I focused on the shadow of her feet. Now I can get her to go either direction depending on what I focus on… Very trippy.
Great post.

I’ve seen this before, and on that day I had no problem switching directions back and forth. Today, it was all counter-clockwise until I scrolled down so I could only see her feet, then I was able to eventually force myself to see her go clockwise. Now I’m stuck clockwise.

Like some others, I have to look away from the screen so that she is only in my peripheral in order to make her change direction. I also noticed that in one direction it is her right leg that is extended, and in the opposite direction her left leg is extended. Very interesting exercise.

May 12th, 2008 at 10:01 am
It seems to me that most see it go clockwise. I doubt that this has anything to do with predicting our way of thinking. I thing that we are conditioned to view things in a clockwise situation because of something else. I would be interested in know the nationality of people responding. How many Asian’s see it going clockwise?

I have NEVER had anything mess with my head like that…I swear it was just like I could control her with my eyes. I know that sounds insane…this is the neatest thing I’ve seen in a long time! At first I was right brained all the way, but after a couple minutes, it switched…try concentrating on her raised foot and move your eyes from side to side, and it seems like she just stands there swinging her foot. WEIRD!
June 2nd, 2008 at 9:12 am
i simply can not make her spin counter clockwise, but, eh, who needs logic when you have this imagination?
June 2nd, 2008 at 11:29 am
That is really neat. I don’t really understand how it works but if I looked away from her to read the article to her right, she would change positions each time I did that. I have seen some interesting optical illusions but this one takes the cake. **For those of you who can only see her dancing in one direction, try looking to the right of the image while still seeing her in your peripheral vision. See if it changes then.

From what I’ve seen, everyone’s attempting to make money by selling their “expertise” just like those guys on late night TV who are selling their real estate programs!! I don’t doubt that there are “secrets” that must be discovered, but reading of books and online websites over time will reveal most of these.
December 3rd, 2008 at 11:55 pm
I definitely believe she changes directions, and not through my brain. I saw her following her raised right arm back, then her left raised arm. So, I think it may be a trick. It’s cool, but making me dizzy!
December 15th, 2008 at 6:39 pm
I see both directions. I can make her go back and forth at will. As I read just below the picture certain words, the direstion changes because both side of the brain process different part of words separately.
